They came out with the stunning Iconic Division palette which has been recognized as the dupe for the ABH Subculture palette which had a lot of negative reviews. As soon as this had came out, I knew I had to get it, and no way was I wasting £43 on the ABH. I had picked up the palette from my local superdrugs store (link) for ONLY £4 for 15 shades!

Row 1 – As you can see from the swatch the first pale shade was not the best (sigh), it did not swatch well at all and was patchy/chunky. Although the shade itself is beautifule with pink/purple reflexes, but applying this as an eyeshadow, you will experience difficulties.

Moving onto the peach shade, this was quite easy to swatch although it did take 2 swatches for the true pigment to stand out. This will make a beautiful transition shade for those with fair skin, and a subtle one for medium/dark skin.

Following this, the light Khaki shade again was easy to swatch however needed 2 turns for intense vibrancy.

The bronze shade is my favourite! This swatch literally took 1 swipe. The shade is vibrant and true to its colour, not chunky or patchy at all. It would look amazing all over the lid for a bronzey eye look.

They grey swatched the same as the other matte shades, took 2 swatches to become the appropriate shade.

Row 2 – The dark green and purple were easy to swatch, soft and very pigmented and would make an amazing pop of colour for the lower lashline.

Dark peach, again easy to swatch, not patchy at all, however did layering twice for its true colour to stand out, this will also make a good subtle transition colour.

I was really excited for this lime green glitter, but it was a shame, there was no colour payoff after 1/2 swipes, it took a good 3-4 swatches to get a good pigment (sad times), maybe will apply better with a wet brush? Laslly, the brown looked promising, colour is beautiful, however the swatches came out patchy as you can tell from the image. I am unsure why, so I cleaned my finger, erased the swatch and tried again, the same thing occured 😦

Row 3 –  All the shades swatched exactly the same, took 2 tries to get its true colour, but what more can you expect from a palette that is only £4. I truly believe it is most definately worth the money. You cant go wrong, there are minor cons but it is easily workeable. Overall, majority of the shades swatched easily and very good quality given the price. However the 2 glitter shades were a let down. But the pros do override the cons 🙂
